Reconstruction of the Villarpando dam in the Dominican Republic using Roller Compacted Concrete

ABSTRACT
The original Villarpando dam included an earth fill section with a length of 600 m which was badly damaged during Hurricane George in 1998. The dam has been reconstructed with low-paste RCC. The main details of the design and the construction work are described in the article.
