ABSTRACT

The Polytechnical Centre of Granada University is an important architectural compound where the main building, as well as the access ramps, fences, gardening elements, etc. feature white concrete. Its constructive process, appearance and quality show again the structural and decorative possibilities of white cement. Measures intended to provide adequate toughness for the building, placed in a region of high seismic risk, posed special execution problems which were solved satisfactory.
